But yes, they ran away. Their father is...well I won't beat around the bush with it, it doesn't need a sugar coating, he's despicable.
He was throwing knives on the walls, not caring about what happened to either of them. He was willing to trade them for anyone else's knives.
[He's thankful, in that respect, that it was people he knew. As much as he didn't want it to be true in first place this was happening. It meant he could do even more to help. No one should be with this man in Garry's eyes.]
